BIG MOVE!!!

On saturday we were fronted with the task of moving this very large freshwater aquarium!
The dimensions were roughly 8 x 4 x 2,5 feet.
Here are some photo's of the move and the tank in it's final resting place refilling! All up a successful day :)

A Planted Aquarium

This is a stunning planted micro-world, placed on a beautiful cabinet with slate inlays, it is sure to make an impact in any waiting room or reception.

Details: 6x2x2, metal halide, CO2, high-Iron substrate, dosing with NO3 and PO4. Vigorous growth inside and outside the tank!

Ponds

Research Aquariums

Research Aquariums are used by organisations for studying aquarium diseases and fish behaviours:

Some work we did for the Murray Darling Freshwater Research Institute, a division of the The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO)

Another bank of research Aquariums at the Murray Darling Freshwater Research Centre (MDFRC), used for studying Purple Spotted Gudgeons .

Another bank of aquariums installed for the CSIRO's MDFRC across the border at their Wonga research facility

ABD Projects

Here we have an ABD marine aquarium that is located in a waiting room at a surgery clinic. Clients at the clinic get there early just to get more viewing time on the aquarium!!! It really does wonders for business

This photo was taken just after planting this garden. Within the coming weeks we will monitor it's growth and it should flourish into a beautiful full garden:

This is a stunning freshwater African Ciclid ABD aquarium. The fish are so happy in this tank that it is hard to keep track of how many new baby Cichlids there are each service!

This freshwater aquarium is a fantastic example of how good lighting stimulates plant growth in AND out of the tank!!
